Cycles & Seasons
We are cyclical creatures, governed by the ever changing tides of heaven and earth. As we awaken and attune with the primal rhythms - seasonal, lunar, astrological - a deeper well of energy, inspiration and connection avails itself to us.
The dreaming, visioning and aspiration of Sagittarius season gives birth to Capricorn this Friday. Like Sagittarius, Capricorn is a transpersonal sign which means it invites us to understand the big picture and how our individual life may benefit the whole of humanity.
Capricorn season arrives on the winter solstice just as the spark of yang energy returns. Yet we are still in the deep, introspective waters of winter. The invitation of Capricorn season is to continue the big picture dreaming and reflecting that began in Sagittarius season. More specifically though we are invited to inquire about our work or creative life.
What can you commit to that will create more ease, flow and impact for your work/creative projects?
As we move towards the Winter Solstice, a moment in time that has been revered and celebrated the world over for millennia, I invite you to pause and reflect on the past year. Take time to acknowledge your triumphs, to hold your heart tenderly as you examine the losses, and to release what you do not wish to carry forward.
One way to honor the turning back towards the light is by creating a Fire Ritual for Winter Solstice. In general, ritual is what knits us together in our glorious & bittersweet walk upon this earth. Ritual allows us to connect with Self, Spirit and the universality of the great Mystery. When we slow down and become present, we tap into the healing and transformation that ritual offers.
For those of us who tend to deal with the holidays by non-stop, over - everything-ing, you may find comfort and spaciousness by committing (NOW) to participate in RENEWAL:28 Days of Seasonal Nourishment & Ritual. The Winter Session begins January 9th and officially end on February 9th. Click here for ALL of the DETAILS.
Wishing you an easeful and bright returning towards the light.
Love,
Martha
