Athena graduated in 2016 with an associate in applied science of Massage Therapy. She's been serving Baltimore city for 8 years of therapeutic practice. She launched her first massage business, Hands of Chiron, after returning from a trip to visit her grandfather's village in Chios, Greece. Her practice honors her culture and family in the village of Mesa Didyma. She uses Mastic in her sessions, resin found on mastic trees, that is known by the people of her island for its healing properties. Athena believes that massage shouldn't be looked at as luxury, but as a routine in life - much like a routine dentist visit. Massage is a system of natural healing, a medicine for mind and body - it should be more accessible!
